Baby Bridgette's 1st. Birthday Party

Today we had Bridgette's first birthday party. She turned one on the 8th. I made a special purple tutu for the party. Everyone loved it! We asked everyone to get her clothes and boy did she get some clothes! We bought her an individual chocolate cake and devoured it! She was pretty miserable after nearly finishing the whole thing. I think she thought it was the best thing she had ever had. She loved it!!!

Christmas and Ringing in the New Year

Well, Christmas is finally over. Santa brought Kinley a Radio Flyer tricycle and Bridgette and old fashioned Fisher Price phone. Kinley love her tricycle!! Although, she isn't exactly long enough for it yet. She can really only go backwards by herself. Too cute!! We went to Clarendon the 28th to do Christmas with my husbands family and were there till Friday afternoon. We went to his aunts house for a new year party where I hung out with my sick child. We watched had the pleasure of watching Scooby Doo, which was incredibly exciting!

Christmas is almost here!

Well, I am very excited about Christmas this year!!! Kinley is two and a half and somewhat understands the concept of Santa. She still doesn't want to talk to him, but she is okay with being near him.:) We also purchased and decorated our very first Christmas tree!! So exciting!! I made a fabulous bow tree topper all by myself! It's beautiful!!!

So, the fall semester is over and I made through alive!!! I had many hardships this semester. I almost did not make the grades I needed to go on in the surg. tech. program. But, I appealed my final grade, got the results that I was looking for, and passed the dreadful skills test. HURRAY!!! Hopefully the spring semester will go so much more smoothly. One can only hope!

School

So, I am in the surgical technology program at South Plains college and this by far has been the worst semester of my college career! It's like being in junior high all over again and my teachers are act the same as the students. It's just awful. But, as of Tuesday I will be finished for a whole month!!!
